COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL - FEATURED PROJECTS
The Gifford Design Group provided analysis, Master Plan Conceptual Design, construction plans, and specifications for aesthetic improvements to the Miriam Hospital Campus within the City of Providence, RI. The goal of the project was to help improve the image of the Hospital with respect to the residential neighborhood setting of the existing campus.
Client: The Miriam Hospital
The Gifford Design Group provided a site analysis of the functional and aesthetic qualities of the corporate entrance to the Lightolier Corporation. Following our evaluations and recommendations, we provided Conceptual Design and final plans and specifications for a new park-like setting for the corporate offices. The project goal focused on providing clients and employees of the facility with an inviting entrance filled with color and fragrance in an otherwise industrial setting. Renovations were completed in 2003.
Client: Lightolier Corporation
The Gifford Design Group designed sweeping curves and varied topography within the rectilinear urban environment of The Rhode Island Hospital Campus. Built for patients of the hospital’s pediatric day care program, the facility provides a mix of use areas - from contemplation gardens, to an informal basketball court - all for children with special needs. The courtyard was completed in the Spring of 2002.
